This is something I've gotten away from and really should get back to as it's a fun and reasonably inexpensive way to add interesting covers to my collection(s) and add some neat material to topical collections. The covers shown I created myself, got the address and dates of the commemorative postmarks from the USPS website and took it from there. I didn't frank the covers with anything that would add to the cover but instead went with a rather commonplace definitive because for these it's all about the postmark. USS Maryland SSBN-738 The postmark and cover below I like because I went to Boot Camp at Great Lakes This one I did simply because my birthday is May 30 Anyone else tried their hand at creating covers like this?
