tobben63 Scott # ?....you know us Americanos (Canadians and USA) René I don't have a Scott catalog, but I think "stamp number" is the same as the Scott number. I have copied this from my online source, Colnect and as you know Scott has a copyright to their number system so therefore "Stamp Number". If someone with a Scott catalog can verify that it would be nice.

May 30 1890 Austria, Scott#54 depicting Emperor Franz Josef May 30, 1914? Bavaria, Scott#99 depicting King Ludwig III, postmarked Arnschwang?. I thought this was postmarked 1910, but stamp was issued from 1914-1919, so possibly the 4 below the 10 is part of year (19)14.

May 30th, 1961. Cover mailed to my late grandmother in Asnières-sur-Seine from Sorgues (a town just north of Avignon, where I have relatives). The red "Grèce 68" mark is from my grand-mother's later use of that envelope to store her Greek stamps in it (likely 68 of them!).

This was sent to me by a nice Australian chap on 10 June 2015, though the last name is incorrect. I figure he went around that day reminding himself over and over to "mail Mick stamps, mail Mick stamps" and ended up mailing "Mick Stamz." A nice air mail etiquette and decorative stickers too.
