56¢ Introduction of the Euro, issued January 2, 2002. 52,360,000 were printed. This one is the sheet stamp. A self-adhesive coil stamp was also issued.

The postmark is from Noumea.  |

I'd say a combo of black cancel over FRANÇAIS makes it look like an S, but I see a C in there. The second stamp looks like it was used on the 16th to me. Peter |
