17 March 1936 Upper Volta YT10. Issued in 1921 and with a postmark from Bobo-Dioulasso,Ivory Coast. Stamps for Upper Volta were issued from 1919 to 1932 and then the territory was divided and split between Ivory Coast,French Sudan and Niger.The territory was revived in 1947 and became part of the French West Africa federation,gaining independence in 1960 and changing its name in 1984 to Burkina Faso.  17 March 1942 Mauritania YT 61,issued in 1930 and with a postmark from Saint Louis,Senegal.  |
