Today I got a very funny email from eBay.
I replied to them but do not envisage a reply any time soon and even then, it will be some non-connected automated rubbish that will be a laugh in itself.
They asked when I was going to pay for a lot that was waiting in my 'shopping basket' !!
The lot was a $450 bogus set of stamps from a Libyan Dealer trying to sell something that wasn't....and I never even saw the stamps on eBay, I ONLY saw them advertised on Facebook !! Somehow, the lot found it's way to a shopping basket on eBay in my account !! So I will change my password and wait for a few years for a reply to my queries.
In the meantime, do I go after the Libyan dealer ?
If anyone else has had an amusing or annoying run-in with an auction site, post it up. I am sure there are many.
