What I collect: Mostly covers and postmarks. Also miscellaneous paper ephemera.

Thread created for terms possibly not covered by the excellent stamp collecting terms thread. Is there a term for official notices or correspondence received from the post office? ( Example on eBay.) I am thinking, for example, of things like the "re-delivery" postcards that are left when you are not home to receive a registered letter.

An interesting question that will get me started on another tangent. At present, we have a number of such items shown under the umbrella term "ephemera" on the U.S. BOB board.

For lack of a better term, I think Postal Service Forms should suffice:
I believe the form you referenced in the example is PS Form 3849 -- Delivery Notice/Reminder/Receipt.
