Another common airmail stamp found in most collection #C9  I believe this to be the thin paper variety with horizontal ribbed paper evident.Turning a 20 cent stamp into $100 find.  |

found in that lot with the Newfie OX stamp.A pretty common C1 however it has an apostrophe after "C" in Canada.Does anyone know if this is unique?   |

firstfrog2013 - Frog I checked Unitrade Canada Specialized 2019 catalog on the C1 and no variety is listed for your finding. Will see if I can tap in one of Canada's most active flyspecker.... If you do not have my e-mail send me a PM This time I could save your C1 in My Pictures and look at it under zooming. At first it felt as if a foreign body was present on the printing plate which would seem "odd".....then I thought it could be a plate defect which would mean that other examples would exist -As said before no variety of this is mentioned in Unitrade Canada - Sure is interesting and the fact you caught it !! René BTW - Just finished doing a custom page for your 3 nice Nova Scotia (Province of Canada) stamp, received amongst many other interesting stuff in your Mystery Box. renden I try to post things here that may be relevant in the future, One day someone may run into a similar stamp and ponder as I do right now if it is by itself in the world.
