For increased visibility, I suggest that you post links to your pages in a thread that you create on the Member Blogs and Websites board, rather than adding them to this introduction.

I used to make all my own pages and if you are only collecting Peru then that is a possibility but it takes a lot of time. If you expand your area of collecting it gets overwhelming very quickly. Take a look at William Steiner stamp album pages on the web. That is what I use and I have printed albums for over 65 countries.

Before my time on TSF, I had never heard of the Steiner stamp album pages. I just tried to take a look, but couldn't really see much before the site wanted me to register and create an account.
Is there a way to get a better idea of what is available and what the pages look like without registering? Does anyone know?
Thanks!

Chris, Take a look at any of the pages posted by rod222 -- his are all Steiner's album pages. You can see what he has available here.

Beryllium Guy - Here is an example of Steiner's Norway from my Big Blue blog. bigblue1840-1940.blogspot.com/For almost all countries, I show a Steiner page or part of a Steiner page ("Deep Blue") in my country post. Browse around, and you will see examples. As far as what is available in Steiner, if it is a major number in the Scott catalogue, Steiner will have a space for it.

Hi Guy, One other thing - I believe he offers US pages for free. At least he used to. So you might want to play around with USA first. I use them and agree with Jim (BigBlue) in all respects. (I print pages as I go.) Having a space for every stamp is nice, but in my case he could do well with omitting all the pricey rarities. Jim did a great comparison of various WW albums with a good discussion of Steiner pages. It's one of my favourite all time posts - I still read it from time to time. Check it out: The Goldilocks PostMark

Thanks for the post, Mark--always good to hear from you!
I will check out Jim's post on WW albums and the Steiner pages. Personally, I am not that unhappy about empty spaces on pages for expensive stamps that I cannot afford, as long as they are regular issues.
What I find irritating is when spaces are included for error stamps which are super-expensive, like the early Sweden page from my brown-cover Scott Int'l album.

Steiner is excellent, think it's 30 bucks a year. Very popular with WW collectors.
Can't go around wrong, less then 60 cents a day. More time to stamp then play around trying to make pages which you will spend hours and hours doing.
