Great photo, JL! It does indeed look well loved, but also a bit daunting! I guess it is a Scott's International album judging from the border on the page?

Am going to buy a BB International. Does Vol.1, 1840-1940 Include all counties A to Z?

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

Great stuff, zipper, good for you! Sorry I missed your post until now. I still have my original big blue beast, and I add to it now and then. Sometimes I just enjoy flipping through it to remind myself of what's in there. I hope you will enjoy it! Are you getting one with stamps in already, or starting with a clean copy?

I have a couple of those albums myself. Got them in some old collections I was gifted. No idea what to do with them, so they sit on a shelf right now. I did find some great classic stamps in them for my own albums.

Beryllium Guy : I started out looking for an original, stamps or no stamps. However, the more I read, I became uncertain. It seems that the new 4 volume version that replaces the original album is more complete. Definitely an upgrade. The problem with that is that I'll need to grab the right volume each time I switch countries. I already have to do that, and I hate it. I have 9 four inch Harris binders that house my WW collection. My US collection is in 5 Mystic albums. After I typed the top two paragraphs, the answer appeared. I'm going to get an original. Much less hassle. Am searching eBay, but if anyone here has one they want to sell, I'd be happy to hear from you.

Purchased Parts I-V (1840-1965) in 1969. Has now expanded to ten volumes. Certainly not a complete world collection, but generally an affordable one.
