Hi everyone. I'm a simple collector, collecting all stamps.
I find great interest in old stamps, that reflact the history of a place, like German stamps from the the many countries to now, African countries from colonization through revolutions to current states, the Soviet rise and fall, and so. I also like the varaity of stamp usage and protection, as seen in the stamps: Italian pneomatic stamps, Belgium railroad stamps and "not on Sunday" tabs, German air ship stamps, varaity of ant forgery measures like watermarks or UV or Austrian band. Also, stamps from remote and exotic places. In short - many interesting things in those funny little pieces of paper.

Welcome to TSF, Rob! I have only recently joined myself, but have found it to be a great place to share information about stamp collecting and to get answers to questions from those who know more than I do!
Rob, I like your collecting philosophy very much. Go for whatever is most interesting to you! Anyway, welcome and enjoy!
