Hi, Semi-postal Princess Marie Gabrielle Sc.# B35-B39.As you are able to see from photo the 75c is illustrated but also has a space for the 75c B37 vermilion & black. There is no space for B35 which is the 10c maroon & deep green. This is from Scott volume ! 1840-1940 copyright 1947 designed & written by Theresa M. Clark.

jl, I apologize, but I am on travel today and the next few days, so unable to check different BB editions for comparison. I will take a look once I get home on Monday if no one else responds before then. Nice work! I always enjoy looking into this sort of thing!

That is a known error in the BB album.. From my BB Luxembourg post.. bigblue1840-1940.blogspot.com/2013/09/StampsofLuxembourg1852-1941.html"• The Scott B37 75c (+30c) vermilion & black "Princess Marie Gabrielle" is listed twice- as an illustration, then as a description. A mistake by Big Blue. Just put B35 in the B37 illustrated space, which BB no doubt intended."

There are a number of mistakes in the BB album. The mistakes fall into several categories: 1) the same stamp duplicated in more than one place (e.g., your example and the Canada 1897 Jubilees), 2) illustrative cuts in the wrong place; 3) correct descriptions but wrong orientation (i.e., a vertical space where a horizontal stamp belongs), and 4) incorrect descriptions. Admittedly, these mistakes constitute a small percentage of the 35,000 spaces in the album, but still you would think after decades (in some cases many decades), the errors would have been corrected.

That is why I like printing out my own pages. That way all are on display, the way I want them to be.
