Back in April, I was notified by Royal Mail that I had won one of the special David Bowie FDC's in a competition, that had been put into space by balloon. Entrants had to estimate a touchdown position on it's return to earth. To assist entrants, an onboard video of its descent was shown with a global positioning map which then had to 'clicked' on to record the estimated GPS coordinates.
Trouble was, the video camera failed a few hundred feet in the air as the balloon spiralled to earth. Blindly, I made my choice.
Today, I received this:
I am of course delighted to be one of the winners. There is however one slight problem with my prize - I wonder if anyone can spot what it is from the images shown.
