I hope that someone may be able to flesh out this cover, as I have scant knowledge of Canadian mail. It has been sent from Port Hawkesbury, N.S. to River Dennis N.S. The cover was posted 25th July 1892 and seems to have arrived the following day, as shown by the blue backstamp. Could someone clarify the address details, particularly what appears to be SSB. Does that refer to South Side ( Bank)? Also, do I read the second line correctly as 'Neil Son'? How common is mail to River Dennis? Thanks for any help.

Your 2nd question as to how much mail goes to River Dennis: There were several post offices relating to River Dennis', 7 in all, Dennis was renamed to Denys which still remains today. One can easily buy covers for $5 to $10 at most Canadian bourses, going to most of these post offices, most to a merchant named John A McAuley. The cover you show, isn't to the said merchant, so that makes it a keeper in my opinion.
Hope that helps somewhat.
