Since I began collecting again, my stamps have mostly been sourced from eBay, as there isn't a stamp dealer in my city. (There was one decades ago that I went to with my dad as a little kid, but it's been gone for a long time.) I was looking forward to visiting a stamp shop on a recent visit to Toronto. Alas, the one I visited, I think had moved recently or changed hands or something. It was billed as a coin and stamp dealer, and the emphasis was definitely on coins. I asked about a few things and they either didn't have them or didn't know where they were, and there wasn't anything out for browsing. I was disappointed, as there's a shop in Toronto I remember visiting with my dad (my grandparents lived in Toronto, so we visited often, and now my brother lives there). I'll have to research more stamp shops I can easily visit.

What I collect: I collect world wide up to 1965 with several specialty albums added due to volume of material I have acquired. At this point I am focused on Canada and British America. I am always on the lookout for stamps and covers with postmarks from communities in Queens County, Nova Scotia. I do list various goods including stamps occasionally on eBay as hdm50

When I fist moved to Toronto in 1990 there were several I visited mostly for supplies. Your best option now may be to see if there are local stamp shows or bourses in your part of Ontario. I see there are a few of these in the Toronto area but to be honest I have not been to one in over 20 years. Like you I am mostly buying on eBay or auctions. Good luck.

Looks like I just missed CANPEX 2024 in London. D'oh!
