Took delivery on this today. Won a week or so back with an impulse bid on eBay. Auction was counting down when I found it, layed a small bid and actually won it. Lister had it down as a L05, which is an 1875 reprint of the 1851 despatch stamp. Not sure how to tell the difference other than under ultraviolet light, which I don't have. Stamp has some thins, so isn't the best example, even for the reprint. But it'll do for now.

The same plate was used for the original and the reprint which was intended for sale to the public at the 1876 Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia. The paper, features and color are basically the same for the original & reprint. The paper is very white and ungummed. UV light as noted is basically the best way to distinguish them. As an added note, there are several forgeries, most very crude and a very good one that can be mainly distinguished by a dot between Pre-Paid instead of a dash.
