Does anyone have any experience with a product made by LINECO called "transparent mending tissue"? According to the company's website: "This very thin and extremely transparent pressure sensitive archival mending tissue is non-yellowing, removable with solvents and has a neutral pH." I've got several stampless folded letters and documents bearing revenue stamps that have tears or folds in need of reinforcement and I though this might be a good product for that purpose.

This is the sort of repair tape/tissue I have been looking at myself. Now I guess you've already looked at these (apologies if you have), but here's a link to some Amazon reviews. Might be useful for others who are considering Lineco or similar repair products: Amazon: Lineco Repair Tissue
Here's a youtube demo video using a similar product (not particularly good, but only one I could find):

Just received this Filmoplast P today: I found that the Lineco product just too expensive here in the UK (US import). So I ordered this German product (still expensive though). Have given it a couple of trial runs and seems immensely strong and very adhesive. This particular type is the transparent thin type, which comes with a backing paper. There are other variants, which also come in white and also thicker for book binding repairs. Once applied, it can be burnished to produce a truly flat surface.
