We've seen a thread on Duck Hunting stamps, so I'm going to start one on fishing stamps. Picked these up yesterday, two salmon fishing stamps from the State of Washington. $3 and $1...looks like John took Mary fishing for a day.  |

I'll add to this one. Dropped into an 'antique barn' today (meaning it was full of antiques, though I think it was pretty old too), and found these two fishing permits from New Jersey, dated 1992 and 1993  Though Mr Jones, the angler, would be 89 years young now, and (hopefully not) may have already shuffled off this mortal coil, I thought it prudent to blur out his address and signature. Ya, ok, the signature is on the stamps too, but if I blurred those, there would be no point in showing them, would there? |
