So, at the suggestion of tomiselsj, I present this scan to see if anyone can tell me if these are different or not. the stamp on the left appears taller. Could one be rotary and the other be flat press? I welcome any input. thanks!

I am looking at mt Darnell catalogue and there is a note at the end of the Admiral section that states there was wet and dry printing that results in variations in size for the issues.

Many Admirals have wet/dry printing but not this one apparently.

The vertical dimension of the design appears to be the same on both stamps; however, the separation between the horizontal rows of perforations is much greater on the stamp at left, giving the appearance of a "taller" stamp.

So is there an explanation for this increased separation? A bottom marginal row perhaps?
