Hey, I am Mike from, Pooler, Ga. Pooler is by Savannah, Ga. I am now 54 year sold and have been collecting stamps since I was 8. I had my mothers / grandfathers collection to start with, but the x-wife kept in in 1989. So, me and my current wife started collecting again in about 1996. I have way too many stamps now and way to many I don't even want any more. LOL. I have currently switched over to just collecting US Revenues, but mostly Ohio State Revenues and Ohio State Tax Stamps with a minor in Georgia Revenues. Once I take on a task, I never give up and I am doing pretty good in my Ohio Stamp endeavors. Unfortunately, I live in Georgia and there are no Ohio stamps here, so I buy them online only. I am looking for new places to buy Ohio stamps and I found this site. I am a member of the State Revenue Society and have been for a few years now. I look forward to learning alot more here and maybe making some new friends on my journey. I build Private Jets for living, and that is what pays for my stamps. Thanks for having me. Mike.

Welcome, Mike! I have had 15 years longer than you to accumulate stuff (stamps included), and these days I spend most of my time promoting the hobby and giving stamps away. I love this forum and delight in the folk who are members; they truly have the philatelic spirit and are very giving not only of their excess stamps, but also their time and knowledge!

Hi Mike, and welcome to the forum. You've probably made Steve's day by joining.
Coincidentally, I was just thinking today how few private jets I have, and how I really should correct that.

Thanks everyone for the welcome.
Mick, if you need another jet, I think we are running a special for only $59,000,000 this week, that's about a $6,000,000 discount! I'm just the guy that builds an fixes them though, I get a regular paycheck like everyone else unfortunately. LOL.
Jerry, yes it is an interesting occupation. I learned to fix aircraft in the US Marine Corps back in the 80's, working on the old British built AV8A Harriers. When I got out of the Corps, I came to Savannah, since my best friend worked here. I have been here since 1989 and still love my job. I get to fly around in the extremely rich guys jets before we deliver them and I must say they do know how to travel in style!
Thanks again everyone, Mike.
