Dear All, Below are rare 1970 Al-Fateh organization propaganda stamps, issued by the organization in Palestine and strictly used only on letters between members of the organization . These stamps were not recognized or registered worldwide by the Philatelic society . I managed to find some articles about the story of these stamps but not very insightful when it comes to real Value of these . linklinkEven when scanning search engines and online stores like Ebay and other sites , slightly very few people are selling these rarely in Block sheets, mostly single stamps goes for (5-10$) . I only found some few listings on contrary to if i was searching for almost any other recognized stamp i would have found thousands of results . Can anyone help me understand how to value or how characterize these stamps Also please note that the first sheet is missing Vertical Perforations. Below are almost all of the designs issued . Any further information about this would be helpful post image on forums

...Can anyone help me understand how to value or how characterize these stamps... My brief online searching seems to support your assertion that sheets and blocks of these are not frequently encountered. I can't offer any advice regarding valuation other than to suggest you look for comparable sale at auction or on sites like ebay. If you contact the author of the article in the second link you provide he may be able to offer additional insight. With regard to characterization, I believe these are appropriately deemed to be Cinderellas. Perhaps our resident Cinderella expert, Londonbus1 , can provide more information on these and their value.

These stamps (Cinderellas) were part of a very large propaganda series. Finding their actual value may be difficult as they would appeal to a limited number of collectors. Full sheets would definitely have good value. The extent of the vast collection can be found HERE
Do a search for "stamps" on the site & perhaps contact the authors.

Any further information about this would be helpful Hi Bombadil and welcome to the forum. To form a collection of these types of Cinderellas can be both costly and time-consuming and you are correct, they don't come cheap. It's always difficult to put a value on Cinderellas anyway and most times one needs a bit of luck to get a bargain. I have never seen a list of the Fateh labels although I am sure one exists somwhere but I can tell you there are at least 14 different types and most likely more. There are a few singles around for $3-$4 and sheets can be found from an Egyptian seller on eBay (whose name escapes me). There are also Propaganda labels from Sister organizations PFLP and DFLP as well as the PLO itself. The 2nd link to the Arab Daily used gave the impression that these were postage stamps which of course they are not although they have had much usage on envelopes from Lebanon, Jordan and Syria (together with the correct postage of course). Regarding the Perf 'error', it is hard to know, as it is with postage stamps, if it was contrived or not. Nice items though. Londonbus1

Any furtheir information i found, ill be sure to update the post. Thanks again, I have a collector friend in Beirut, Lebanon who seeks out these kinds of items. He has told me he gets them from the USA as well as locally and I will endeavor to get more information from him. Politicians have decided that we cannot meet or send each other stamps, but they cannot stop us having online discussions.........dread the day that may come ! Also, tomorrow I will be making a rare visit to the Flea Markets in Tel Aviv where there are a few dealers of Stamps with lots of 'Underground' material. I will see what I can find. Londonbus1
