Hello everyone. I am Erik from Northern Ontario, Canada. I have been collecting for well over 30 years now when as a young boy I received "The Fully Illustrated Universal Stamp Album" as a Christmas gift. Today I collect the Nordic countries and Estonia. Lately I have taken up an interest in postmarks especially Swedish and Norwegian town cancellations. Looking forward to making some friends and increasing my knowledge in my areas of interests.

Welcome to The Stamp Forum, Erik, and thanks for making your introductory post! Well, some say that "timing is everything" and yours must be pretty good. Interested in Norway town cancellations, you say? Well, just earlier today, I posted this one from Raudeberg on the TSF Postmark Calendar thread: Anyway, welcome to TSF, Erik! I am glad that you found us, and we look forward to seeing some of your collection and learning more details about your interests.

Hi Erik, and welcome to the forum. Most excellent to have another postmark aficionado. I'm looking forward to learning more about Scandinavian postal history.
