Good day, all... I am Peter. I started collecting stamps from reading the Toronto Telegram Saturday stamp column. That was way back in the late 60's or early 70's! New Zealand was my choice back then, along with Canada, Jersey, Isle of Man & Faroe Islands. Then Jersey was sold to get into Tuvalu. I think Tuvalu was the main reason I quit in '85 or so. They issued that "LOTW" series that I did not want & they kept sending them. I was also in the military & moved around the country & world, with all those stamps in tow. I'm surprised nothing had degraded.
I started collecting again back in late 2016. I have added Luxembourg & Greenland, added to the Faroes & like engraved stamps from all over. Canada has been revived with stamps dating back to #15. My fave is the Bluenose, well-centred with ½ a hinge. Bought decades ago for $150, same price today. Ive been busy mounting all the stamps that have languished in stock books for 40 years! Awesome what you can do these days with your own computer. Part of the fun these days is keeping track of everything on it & designing pages to print out. Glad I found this site.

Peter,
welcome to the forum! I came back to collecting a few years ago after a long absence. Now I never get enough time. I have an extensive Luxembourg collection and have a lot of duplicate mint and used stamps. Would be willing to trade or give some away. If you have a want list let me know and I can see if I can accomadte. I use both Scott’s and Michel catalogs.
happy collecting.
David
