Impressive, are stamps from this country of any real value? Indeed, the value of personal enjoyment, part of the fabric of collecting stamps. Consider a photo of your family, the value is considerable, to others not linked to you, it is merely a photo, an image. You get out of Philately what you put in. If you are interested only in the financial rewards of philately, then leave these well alone PS : Good question Nick.

History of Space Arthur C Clarke Jules Verne Galileo Robert H Goddard Not Goddard as it turned out! I was wrong back then - as I remember, neither of us could find any printed source of info for any of that mystery Ajman stuff, and I guessed Goddard because the chap looked quite a bit like him (Newton & Galileo I was sure of, those are famous portraits of those men, and we had to search to figure out Verne, I think). But it's actually HG Wells, not Goddard. Here's a portrait from Wikipedia, back when he had a bit more hair and a bit less avoirdupois. Ryan

Wow! I was SO convinced it was Mr. Goddard, Ryan. H G Wells is not such a good fit for "History of Space" Thanks for the re-visit, I'll pencil in the changes.
To reduce avoidupois take 30 minutes of Velocipede per day. Hair is merely a conceit.

I am working on Ajman at the moment (don't really collect them, just save them) and came across this one. I can't find any information on it - It's not on Colnect and I don't see it on the internet - there are two similar listed on eBay, but no information is provided. The Michel number for the stamp is 1014A and Yverts is 152A, but no number for the souvenir sheet. Does anyone have any information on it?
