Hi. I am a full time collector and a part time dealer who specializes in King George VI stamps from all of the British Colonies; and King Edward VII & King George V stamps from the British West Indies. Although I do sell stamps from my web site - www.kgvistamps.com, I also publish a number of helpful web pages that will help collectors sort their stamps. Currently there are over 150 web pages with over 3,000 images of stamps that have been identified by the various catalogs (Commonwealth, Gibbons and Scott). I hope to discuss identifying various British Colony stamps with other interested collectors.

Hello, KGVI, and welcome to TSF! Your interests should fit in nicely around here, and I will look forward to seeing some of your favorite material and joining in some of the discussions you have described. Although I am primarily a pre-1930 WW collector, I have a soft spot in my heart for the British colonial issues, including those of KGVI. Thanks for making your intro post, and enjoy your time with us! Best Regards, Chris ( Beryllium Guy)

Welcome to our Forum and I see that you have already posted some nice KGVI items ! Hope you will enjoy your time with us. I might be asking you for advice during September after picking up an extensive Commonwealth, mainly KGVI collection during my UK trip in August. Stated to have a catalogue value of over $25,000, I think I will be asking for help before I start to sell it !! Happy Collecting Londonbus1

kgvistamps, I made the realization a couple of days ago that you live in Lisle,IL which is where my sister lives. I know,I know...it's a small world but Lisle is not that big a place so I thought this was interesting.
