Just a simple q: there're a number of prices in their catalog in italics. I can't remember what that signifies. Can someone re-enlighten me?
TIA...

In some cases it means there is not enough market data to determine a value and other cases I have been told for used stamps it means you need to be sure the stamp has a proper cancel (time during actual use). There is some three letter acronym that I cannot remember that refers to a cancel.

Scott Introduction of their catalogues says: " Stamp values in italics generally refer to items that are difficult to value accurately." etc...... please refer to Scott's Understanding valuing notations (page 19A in my 2009 volume 1). I agree with Angore and do not want to quote him again as he said it in "other words".....just wanted to give you what is written in the Catalogue. René

I had looked in the catalogue for an explanation, but didn’t find anything. It is like iOS settings, scattered all over the place. Thanks angore and renden.
