Hi all, Dave Sheridan, Melbourne Australia.
I've "known" Michael for a lot of years online, and followed his prompt to join. I've been a member of many forums, some have died, some are alive, some are to be avoided.
I collect KGV British Empire, I also sell as Global Philately, and I'm a member of the APS, IPDA, Rhodesia Study Circle, Falkland Islands Philatelic Study Group and Pacific Islands Study Circle.

Hi Sherro !! Nice to hear that nickname again and glad you joined us. I think you will like it here, I am sure we are going to enjoy your stamps !! Now I have an idea ! I know you have a nice collection of the Central Pacific Mailboat Service, an issue I like very much. How about putting an article together about them and show some of your lovely examples ??!!............Please ! We'd love to see them, wouldn't we chaps ? (and chapesses). Our Newsletter would be very proud and you can enter my giveaway too ! You will find where to send the text and pictures hereI only have one measly example, so scarce are they........... How about it Sherro ? Another topic would be equally acceptable of course (I was just being selfish !). Let's see if we can find more past buddies to join up........... Londonbus1........still a Grumpy Old Man !

Welcome to TSF, sherro! Well, blaming Londonbus1 is a bit of a pastime around here.... We blame him for: sharing his great knowledge with all of us, making wonderful posts of some amazing material, his repeated generosity, his integrity even in the face of challenging situations, his compassion for other members, and perhaps most of all, for his friendship and the respect he gives to us all. He clearly has a lot to answer for! So, I am really glad that you have placed the responsibility for your joining us right where it belongs. OK, just kidding!! Any friend of Michael's is a friend of mine! I look forward to seeing some posts of your material, especially the Central Pacific Mailboat Service which Michael mentioned. Welcome again, and enjoy your time with us. Best Regards, Chris (aka Beryllium Guy)

Well, as the song says: The bus came by and I got on, that's when it all began
There was Cowboy Neal Londonbus1 at the wheel of the bus to never ever land
Welcome, Dave.

Welcome to the Forum!
Poor Londonbus1 takes a bit of blame around here. We are fortunate to have him. Looking forward to seeing some of your collection.
