Over the years I have accumulated quite a few fascist-era Italian covers; I will post them all here eventually unless they fit into another category. This one is addressed to the National Fascist Institute of Family Providence or something similar. I couldn't find anything similar worded online; possibly a bureaucracy to do with controlling family life? Dated 1941 maybe there were requests or special dispensations for allotments of commodities or services in short supply (during World War II) or maybe concerning state efforts to get families to tow the party line..... It seems the sender had to use quite a few stamps, maybe there was an oversized-letter rate at the time? Perhaps members here might shed some more light. --Jim Wentzell stampguyaps177-681

Registred letter from Popolo to Reggio Emilia of the 25 11 1941 for 1 lira and 75 cent correctly franked to assolve one port as registred letter.
I.N.P.S. Istituto Nazionale Previdenza Sociale (once called fascista), it was created by Benito Mussolini as social security and pensions institute. Before the advent of fascism, Italy did not have any government organ/office who paid pensions to people. The institute of INPS it exists today. The letter was sent to the ''assegni familiari'' department (family allowances), because in fascist time families were getting allowances for any child underage.

Not a cover, but a card, posted from Italian Libia to Barcelona in 1928.
