In 1997, Palau issued a number of stamps celebrating the bicentennial of parachutes. As a drag racing fan, I scarfed up this souvenir sheet of a funny car with parachute deployed. Looking at the front fascia, I can tell the car is based on an early '70s Plymouth Duster. Scott: 425 A120

There are at least two other drag racing stamps out there that I know of - Iceland (2011) and Aruba (2005). Both images are nabbed from Colnect because I haven't bought these stamps yet! Ryan
