I used to have a membership here once upon a time, but it appears that it vanished into the ether after a prolonged period of inactivity.
I specialize in U.S. revenue stamps and documents, particularly those of the Civil War era. Additionally, I collect world pre-1940 stamps with socked-on-the-nose cancels, the Vienna printings of Indonesia, and U.S. half-cent postage dues on cover.

Welcome to the Forum!
I'm unable to find a previous account for you on the membership role under your username or email address but that isn't important -- you're here now and I hope that you'll remain an active participant.
I'll adjust your status as soon as I finish this post so that you'll be able to participate in other areas of the Forum.
I look forward to learning more about your area of specialization as my U.S. revenues have been waiting a long time for me to do something with them.

Yes welcome .I too have been neglecting the revenues Mom left to me.In fact I am guilty of not even looking at my U.S. stamps.I looked at them more when I visited with Mom before she passed than since.Maybe soon I can get at them.

Glad that you found us again. I look forward to seeing some images of those revenues, for sure, but I am perhaps even more interested now in seeing some of those classic era WW SON cancelled stamps! Perhaps you might favor us with an image or two for the Postmark Calendar thread, or even something from the WWI period in the thread to mark the 100th Anniversary of the end of WWI, which is today. Anyway, welcome back one more time; hope to see more from you around the Forum! Best Wishes, Chris (aka Beryllium Guy)
