Thus morning, I looked in another box that had yet to be labeled, only to find plastic bags full of stamps, many loose, many more in envelopes, and sadly a number of envelopes stuffed much fuller than is practical, envelope sealed, and then crammed into a corner which causes a great many of the contents to now be curved/bent.
For used stamps, I would think soaking and then drying out same as if I was soaking to remove the remnants of the envelope they had been used on.... but best practice for mint stamps? (fortunately they are not all stuck together like some earlier discoveries) If I just lay between two pane of glass with a weight on it, will they flatten out???
I have several several hundered in this condition
thoughts?

I have just put in glassine envelopes and put between pages of heavy books. Or I put in the drying books used for drying after soaking stamps off paper. I weight them down with heavy books. I think your suggestion would work. My only concern would be humidity levels with mint stamps. Just my two cents worth.
