I found some Bank Notes from (1870-1) and need some assistance tying these five stamps. I think the one and ten cents are Scott # 134 & 139. But because of the heavy cancels, I cannot tell the two cents stamps. I slipped up on the two cents stamps, the are #183.
Any help,if possible, would be truly apprecated.
Thank you,
Jim stampguyusa

A non-expert opinion[Image intentionally deleted by former member] C=Common, VC=Very Common, R=Rare
1. Secret mark in ball So 156 C, 182 C, 167 R, 192 R, 206 VC
2. Distinct vertical lines So 206 1881 Re-engraved American
[Image intentionally deleted by former member] S=Scarce, UC=Uncommon, C=Common
1. No secret semi circle mark So 139 S, 150 UC, 187 UC or 209 C
2. 4 lines instead of 5 So 209 Re-engraved 1882 American 2c too difficult to tell but either the common 178 or 183 - need to check the paper type

Thank you nl1947
Your wonderful work on the scans is greatly appreciated. You made everything perfectly clear, something Scott's failed to do. I was afraid the paper types would be a problem. I was a printer for many years and could never figure out laid for regular paper. Modern laid paper is easy todistinguish. The old paper, not so much. Again thanks for the work you put into your reply! Regards, Jim (stampguyusa)
