I haven't seen this at a stamp dealer, but there is a similar sign by the cash register at a well-known hobby shop (trains, model kits, rc aircraft, etc..) here in town that says something along the lines of "go ahead and spend the money, we called your wife and she said it's okay"...I am paraphrasing but it goes something like this.

What I collect: US to 2000 with a focus on 720 & 721, WW 1840 - 1930, DDR 5 year workers, Machins, Canada Centennials, Brazil Allegories, Mexico Archiecture & Archaeology 1950 -75, used stamps preffered when possible.

In all honesty, the above photo was taken at a fishing tackle store but I thought that it could apply to stamp dealers as well.
