Hello Members, I have been a guest for too long so I signed up to become a member. I see a lot of names I know already. A little history about my interest in stamps
My Mum, Brother and I would fly to Scotland every year to visit my Grand Parents. When I was visiting Grandpa was sorting the stamps that Mum sent to him. He taught me and my Brother about stamps when I was 8 and I have been collecting even since. ( My Brother lost interest and gave me his collection) Now I have a 9 year old Grand Daughter who loves stamps as much as I do.
I am a used World Wide collector, but do have my favorites. USA, Canada, Great Britain and the Channel Islands, Iceland, New Zealand. My Grandpa had a mint Great Britain collection So I enjoy adding to this whenever I find a mint USA, GB or Canada. He also had a stock book of his favorite topics paintings, animals, birds and cars. Over the years I have added pages for lighthouses and the Royal Family. I have a small collection of souvenir sheets which I love to show my Grand Daughter when I receive a new one.

Welcome to TSF, crazyquilter ! Thanks for taking the plunge and making your intro post. What are your collecting interests? Anything and everything, or something a bit more specific than that? I would love to hear more, and better yet, see some examples of your favorite material. Enjoy your time with us! -Chris (aka Beryllium Guy)

to TSF! It's great to see the stamp collecting hobby passing through the generations. I also received the stamp collecting bug from my elders (one grand-parent on each side and my mother), but no luck so far on getting the next generation interested. I wish you continued success in that regard!
