Thanks, I followed the link and it appears I have the latest drivers for my model printer. If the problem gets worse, I think I'll just look for another printer.

Thanks, Steve. I went to the site, but couldn't figure out the instructions. Never found the link to download. I've given up on trying to fix this problem. I just don't have the tech knowledge to get into the printer and see what's going on, nor can I send it out to the computer shop I use. He charges $90 an hour and as I said somewhere above, I can probably buy a new printer/scanner for around $50. That seems the best course.
