Recently I found two Austrian commercial covers mailed from Vienna in 1912 or 1914--the year is not clear on either cover The postal stationery items (preprinted envelopes) are denominated 10 Heller (to Stuttgart in Germany); the other is denominated 25 Heller (and is addressed to Zurich, Switzerland). Both are technically foreign destinations. My question is were the rates to Germany that much cheaper (40% of the rate to Switzerland) or maybe I'm missing something. All comments are appreciated as I don't have a lot of experience in Austran foreign rates and destinations! Thanks in advance! Jim Wentzell stampguyaps177-681

The first cover is from Sarg & Sons Co., an unusual name; it means, literally, "coffin" in German. I wonder if they manufactured them as well...?!?
