I have to confess as a Brit I had never heard of Rockwell Kent so I Googled. He was quite an artist illustrator and traveller in Greenland and the Arctic. Post war as a Socialist and anti nuclear campaigner, though never a communist he fell foul of the Mc Carthy witch hunt . He was however awarded the Lenin Peace Prize, for his work from 1957-71 with American Soviet Friendship.
How many letters are involved Kosovo..? It is likely to be an interesting and possibly important correspondence.

Hello, I realize this thread is a little old. Is this correspondence still available? I would be interested in seeing any other postally-related items about Kent. He did several Cinderellas, including the 1939 Christmas Seal. Here are a couple of examples of what I am interested in. Thanks   |
