ProBoards has been having problems all day. It's not just TSF.

I have the same problem when running Ghostery -- to get the links to function directly I have to pause that program.

No issues here. Links all work, signing out works...
If there are any issues, that is something the forum can't do anything about. Complain to the ProBoards site instead.

I have the same problem when running Ghostery -- to get the links to function directly I have to pause that program. I've been running into all sorts of problems past couple of months at a few sites elsewhere trying to view/download/print documents such as bills. I have to disable the adblocker on those sites. Apparently, the sites are sending out pop-up -- when my adblocker blocks the pop-up, the new tab (where the document should appear) disappears before loading, and I never see anything. If you are running into problems with links not working or images not appearing and it is only happening on TSF, I suggest you temporarily do the following (in succession if each doesn't work): 1. Disable any adblocker/redirect software for TSF domain name. 2. Lower your browser security setting for TSF domain name. 3. Clear your browser cache. 4. Clear your browser cookies (you will lose all your save sign-in settings...). Remember to restore #2 security setting back to original setting.

khjTSF being a non secure site, I will not touch my "security" settings. This should be a secure site and supported by its members. My opinion - Thanks René

Chrome reports as not secure but I have not seen any issues accessing TSF or the other forum hosted by proboards.

You don't have to change any setting that you feel uncomfortable changing. My suggestion was for troubleshooting, not for solving the problem. That is why I stated to return to original security setting afterwards.
The actual TSF forum site is secure, according to what I am seeing. As long as you are using https to access, you should have no concerns about someone intercepting your password and hacking into your account. There is nothing wrong with the https for the TSF forum proper.
However, apparently the image hosting setup being used by TSF is not secure. I don't know how admin set that up -- so that is something admin will need to reply. Basically, there is a possibility that someone can intercept and view the stamp images you are seeing, as well as swap out the image for something else to try to trick you into doing something. That is why you get the message that this site is not "fully" secure. Someone being able to see the stamp pics I see on TSF doesn't really bother me, and if I see an odd pic, I would not click on anything and just let admin know.

khj when I insert the https.........here is what I get: https’s server IP address could not be foundAnd my browser, Chrome gives me a big red Not secure in front of the usual address. Norton security advises me too. When I import pictures from my pictures I find at times that other messaes have managed to enter my lines - I delete them but still feel this is not a secure site except when you log in (it says secure for a second) René

The TSF Image Host is a secure site. As renden has said, only the sign-in page to get to the Forum is secure and ProBoards has indicated that it does not plan to make the current version of its free websites secure. A new version is in the work but I have seen nothing yet regarding its security.

It went away when I refreshed the screen. I just assumed that was a hiccup in one of the nodes. ProBoards server was really really unstable yesterday, but much better today.

A my post was moved because I did a test in the wrong section and put away (far away ) I wish to say what I said, pertinent to this thread: I only use "add image to post" and respect the 1 MB limit and my images are saved in my computer, not some Website I cannot control René
