There is a somewhat related thread (gutter pairs) but it was 2013 so I have started a new one, ( but if it's thought better to be added to the earlier thread, by all means move!) I found these today during my soaking "adventures" . They were tucked in between pages. The block shows signs of being hinged, but the pair looks NH as does the single- I don't think these have a great dealof value, but always fun finding mint stamps 100 years old! this pair is where the possible tie in with the gutter pairs might tie in

stainlessb Stan - did not find a thread on the P8s which follow your scans so here are my P8s: Sc P8/Maury 279A 1/2c s bistre-olive or olive-bis Sc P8a/Maury 279B 1/2c s bistre-brun or br bis Both examples are Mint and are part of my Sower series (Semeuse Camée - Maury) or Sower NO ground under feet (Scott) René

Nice! I haven't yet gotten to this series yet, but I think I've seen some surcharged ones... though, I don't think they are mint
