I now work part time (officially 32 hrs) but still have evening work calls for projects as we do a lot of work with the Far East so always put in more time. This is normal for a salaried person since work is not by the hour. I am in R&D type work.
Most of my stamping on the weekends starting early after I make the rounds of the various forums and get caught up on news. This can run a significant part of the day. Half watching a movie or listening to some old time radio is always part of the routine. Old sci fi and horror movies are my favorites along with old time radio shows.
Not much is done during the week since due just not in the mood. I will do small tasks but creating new pages, added a number of stamps into Stamp Manage, etc. usually is done on the weekends. I have a to do list by country but one to do is keep using the list!!!
With summer, time is reduced since more outdoor chores. Give me a rainy day and I am ready.

angore, your routine sounds similar to my routine. Most weekdays I just don't feel like working on stamps or, if I do, it will be pretty limited. Weekends are the bulk of my stampy activity and I usually listen to music, a podcast or watch something on Netflix while I work.

I really do not have a routine. I work on stamps when I feel like it. Mostly in evenings. As I am self employed part time I have a very flexible routine. This time of year my gardening services are required most days. I do look forward to rain days. Summer creates some humidity issues so I do more mounting and page printing.
When i do work, I usually set out a task for the session. Then on goes the music, a beverage is poured and I am ready to go. I know drink and stamping is asking for trouble. My drink is on a side table that is no where near my stamps. No accidents yet.
If I do not have a work plan for the session I tend to get easily distracted and find a multitude of other stamp tasks that need doing.
my methods work for me.

Not much stamping routine with me, I pretty much stamp whenever and as much as I can. However when I am at home with my family, the best start of the day is to get out of bed one hour before the rest, and enjoy a cup of coffee and the silent company of my very small perforated friends. That's now turned into a kind of morning-ritual

I am usually up early as well. Drink coffee, play games, read newspaper, surf, then stamp stamp stamp. Sometimes just for part of the morning, sometimes all day. It all depends on my mindset, which changes from day to day.

In my case, stamping will usually start after 9pm, once the children will have been put to bed. At least on weekdays. I put some background noise on my headphones (either music or talking heads from political shows) and off I go, until too tired to continue. Unless of course other duties have priority, like taking care of bills or finishing something for work. On week-ends, when my wife is away with at least two of the kids (for instance during their chess club meetings), and I only have one to look after, I can usually do some more. That's when I prefer to do the soaking, which I like to do on the terrace so any water drippage does not get on the floor which would irk my wife to no end.

I have an out of sync body clock. It's 12.16am here now, and I'll be in bed in an hour or so, and up around 10.30am. This time of night is when I get most work done!

I don’t really have a routine. Since I’m now retired, I can stamp pretty much any time I want as long as the household chores (mowing, taking out the garbage, ete.) are taken care of. I retired early due to health issues and stamps are one of the things I can enjoy that is not affected by my health limitations, unlike backpacking, canoeing/kayaking, and mountain biking.
