Witch stamp magazine would you recommend to subscribe?
I'm looking for a magazine that is not to country focused and is not dominated by the new stamp issues.
Must be in English.

I've made a one year subscription for "Topical Time", currently reeving. It is the journal of American Topical Association. Don't like it too much, and won't renew my subscription next year. Too much of ads and non relevant information, specifically on proceedings of the association. The small amount of articles that are found in the journal are too "simplistic", not very informative. The journal regards the topical philately. All in all, I am dissapointed. Kostia

Are you asking abut the best generalist magazine for someone who has general interests?
I subscribe to Linn's Stamp News and the monthly edition has the longer more in depth articles. They have many back issues now available online.

Kelleher's Stamp Collector's Quarterly is an excellent publication, written in English, and covering a wide array of different topical and geographic areas. The current and back issues are available at no cost online here. Another excellent publication is The American Philatelist, the journal of the APS. Right now I believe a non-U.S. or Canadian individual can join APS for under US$20 (membership good through December) and have online access to the AP, including back issues.

There are two magazine subscription apps, PocketMags and Readly, which give you unlimited reading of select titles they carry, with a Plus subscription (about $10 a month). PocketMags carries the British titles Stamp Magazine and Stamp Collector. Stamp Collector is by individual copy or subscription purchase only. Stamp Magazine, with the Plus subscription, has several years of back issues available for reading at no extra charge. Readly has only Stamp Collector (in English), and several years of back issues are also available at no extra charge. They also carry Michel Rundschau and Deutsch Briefmarken Zeitung.
Both apps offer a one month free trial to Plus. You can either binge-read everything you are interested in, or conduct a marathon session of screen-shotting all articles of interest, for later reading.
While Readly is only available as a mobile app, PocketMags has a desktop app as well as mobile.

I came on here to recommend the APS magazine...but now I need to give a recommendation for Linns Stamp News.
I'm a member of the APS and get the digital copy of the magazine but I just signed up for Linns about 5 minutes ago and started reading some of the back issues. I can see this is going to be a time consuming part of my life this winter... Mike
