COB is very helpful and your French will improve if you do not already speak and read it! COB seems to be the most thorough on Types, variants and shades...although shades is something you have to sort of figure out on your own. there is a thread elsewhere where we've come up with some academically interesting approaches... although interpretation still seems better left to comparing by eye since scanners and monitors vary with respect to color rendition/recognition/resolution

These arrived today. unsure which color shades these are (there are 9)... these are my only ones I also think that I have mis-named my files as #MO1 instead of #1 (#MO1 has the horizontal red line???) A beautiful cancel #4 is I believe Aubange  cancellation is not identifiable, but color shade is different  only 7 to go.....  |
