I sometimes browse the Facebook marketplace for stamps, just for giggles. The listings can be a real hoot, like someone trying to sell one of those gold plated stamp covers for $500. Anyways, I accidentally clicked on a message to owner link and now the owner thinks I’m interested in his turkey print bwwaah ha ha! Oops!

FYI, the stamps in the pic are not state or federal license stamps.

I’m not sure, resolution is a bit grainy, but a conservation group makes sense. I remember seeing similar items at a Ducks Unlimited fundraiser. Humor aside, those groups do much good work for the protection of certain species.
Still the thought of me buying a turkey print made me laugh! Somehow doesn’t fit in with my teal and coral Key West decor LoL. Just don’t let old Ben Franklin know that it made me giggle! Poor maligned turkeys!

Would you be a “ turkey” for buying it?

philatelia, I do the same thing...browse FB marketplace listings. You are correct, sometimes these listings are a hoot and I pity the person who purchases some of these items thinking they are getting something valuable. I have also, seen, however, some real good deals from people that don't know what they have. It sure is interesting to browse. We also have a regional estate auction house that puts stamps and stamp collections up for auction occasionally but you can tell they don't know how to price it. I have seen what I consider some better collections go for pennies.

You should 'gobble' it up. Sorry, could not resist.
