As this year marks the 350th anniversary of Rembrandt's death, I thought it appropriate to start a thread...
One of his works, "The Eloquence of Wanton Curiosity", painted in 1642 is featured on the 10 Russian kopek of 1976 to commemorate his 370th Birth Anniversary of Rembrandt.
This stamp from the series is lithographed, perf. 12 x 12ΒΌ and was issued by Soviet Union, USSR (Stanley Gibbons 4593).
