The Chalon portrait of Victoria was used on many issues, perhaps most famously on the first issues of New Zealand. But I'm not familiar with the second portrait which appears on the Nova Scotia stamp. Could probably google it but maybe you can add more information about it?

Indeed nbstamper, the Chalon portrait was used repeatedly by many issuing countries and produced some wonderful stamps!
and just like a museum, I could spend hours on this website...
