I'm Terry from Los Angeles.
I was out of stamp collecting for about 20+ yrs, until I was in Belgium about 5 yrs ago and passed by a stamp store display window showing stamp packets. I immediately got the bug. It started out as a slow re-entry into the hobby, until I really started to pick it up early last year, buying more and more material, mainly packets by country. My goal is to continue what I started earlier - to fill up my worldwide albums (and supplemental pages) that I purchased a few decades back.
Up until that point, I was casually collecting old stamped postcards (occasionally covers) for the previous 10 yrs, both worldwide and Los Angeles specific.
Thanks for reading!

Stanley, my 3 volumes of the Harris Citation Worldwide album have for a long time contained mostly empty pages - need to fill them up with stamps. Easier to do now than 30+ yrs ago. So I'm continuing to collect the old fashioned way.

Thanks Don! Yup, I'm WW for individual stamps, plus I like stamped postcards. Both old cards and more recent ones that I mail to myself when I'm travelling abroad.

No judgment at this time Renden, don't think I can get in 50 posts before the Canadian Thanksgiving on October 14th. Will you be giving away free stamps or other philatelic material for those new members who do?
