Everyone is aware of the King George V Scott 192i broken "E" constant variety. For those who are not familiar with this constant, below are a couple of "broken E" blocks.
Here is a close up of the variety and what to look for.
Now if you have a stamp that has a cancel hiding what might be the variety like the pic. below....There is a way of guaranteeing a Scott 192i.
All Scott 192i varieties have a indicator that will identify a broken "E"...The "G" above the broken "E" has a dot on the let side..hen you can be assured you have the variety as shown below.
Enjoy the hunt...Robert

Hi Robert, Here is my used block of six with the center stamp top row showing the flaws. I have had this block for many years. It remains one of my favorite varieties. Mike

Hi Robert, That is a nice re-entry on the 3c SQ. Here is a more subtle one there is doubling of most of the design. Mike

Hi Robert, Ralph saw the 3c SQ I posted many years ago. He told me it was the finest copy he had seen of it. I offered it to him when he stopped writing the Re-entry Study Group Newsletter years ago but he sent it back to me.
