I am a member of the United Nations Philatelists. When I tried to download their journal index, the file would only download to a point then stop. What can I do to get this file to download? I contacted the webmaster and he stated he tried on 5 computers and it downloaded with no problems. Is there anything I can do from my end? Any information from anybody in the know would be greatly appreciated.

How large is the file?
How much space on your HD? (I believe both Windows and OSX would flag you with a warning that you do not sufficent space, so this is likely not the issue)
If you have DropBox or some such other hosting site for large files, try uploading to there and then downloading
alternately, depending on your download speed, you might try early morning/late at night when there might be fewer users online in your area

I would try another browser. That would probably work...

Try opening a different browser if you have one, sometimes that can be the reason. Also try saving it to a different place, maybe a thumb drive or some different location on your computer.
If that fails ask a teenager...always works for me!!!!

Any information from anybody in the know would be greatly appreciated. John, there is a bug somewhere that is also keeping me from viewing the entire index on Google Chrome. Not sure the exact cause of the problem. However, I can view it using FF. I have converted the Volumes 1-40 Index into a searchable pdf and emailed it to you (the pdf is <1MB since the Index is mostly text). I no longer have the email address that we corresponded in the past, so I sent it to the email address you have listed on TSF. Check your spam folder in case my email got tossed in there.  k (no longer a teenager, unless you convert to dog years) |

If there isn't a teenager available, ask a kid that is at least 10 yrs old. That worked for me.
