A 1938 postcard with a Vatican stamp tied with a special Italian cancel welcoming Der Führer. I’m doing some research, but still not clear on whether the Italian postal service would carry mail franked with Vatican issues or if this is a fluke. It is unaddressed so maybe it was just courtesy cancelled as a philatelic souvenir / oddity. Found this in a bargain mixed lot of various Vatican.  |

1939 Registered cover Vatican to Copenhagen with Pope Pius XII Coronation issue, posted a few months after the March 12, 1939 coronation. Set was issued on June 2nd.  |
