Hi guys I have a good Canadian precancel collection and found a couple of varieties. Kyle Taylor, Editor of the " Canada precancel catalouge" has replied to my finds.
The style R - B-2 (2 bar break) was recognized on the Scott 36 and Scott 43 stamps. I found the variety on a Scott 35a SQ stamp also...Below is the reply from Kyle.
Next one is the Scott 75 is the broken bars variety..I found one on the Scott 74 also. Kyle Taylor reply..
Now remember this, just because mine was only the 3rd one found, This is no ware near WATERMARK'S Scott 32 find (also the 3rd on found). Keep hunting and maybe you can find new varieties..

Here is another Scott 106 precancel not in "The Standard Precancel Catalouge" yet. It is a standard Scott 106-i (inverted precancel)..BUT..It contains the precancel variety 106- P-6. Also there is a large dot in the middle of the precancel on this block. And only one/half period on top right stamp....Very interesting precancel.. Robert

I have recently started actively collecting the pre cancels. Have the catalogue discovered how many varieties there are.
a small collection so far but will now keep looking for more.
will have to make sure I really look at them more closely.

David i only have the 6th addition of "The Standard Canada precancel Catalouge"...I need the newest one, 7th edition. Kyle the editor is working on another edition...This is the BOOK for precancels (Canada)
Flyspeck the heck out of every stamp...You may find more varieties.
Here is another example that is not recognized in the catalouge yet..Scott 711-Y (Style Y) The double bar precancel has 2 different size bars...See the picture below. BTW..The words UOM mean "Units Of Measurement"...You can use any measurement to get the percentage differences..The left stamp is 63.63 UOM and the right stamp is 68.86 UOM.
The difference is the right stamp is 12% wider
