In his excellent Cinderella Corner, Part 16: Acquisitions & Impressions (V4.2), Londonbus1 posed a question in the section pertaining to U.S. Exhibitions. Specifically, he asked: "So what might the Cicero-Berwyn S. B. Society mean?" I had asked myself that same question, given that the souvenir sheet he described, shown below in both perforated and imperforate form, is also included in my hometown collection. LB1's article prompted me to finally look into the matter and I believe I'm now able to answer his question. In reviewing old newspaper announcements online, I learned that the Cicero-Berwyn Philatelic Society and the Cicero-Berwyn Stamp Bourse Society were separate entities, with the former likely being comprised predominantly of collectors and the latter of dealers. I am assuming that the Philatelic Society deferred to the Stamp Bourse Society in 1941 by not holding its exhibition. Technically, this gap year should have resulted in the Philatelic Society dropping the word "Annual" from its Sixth Exhibition title--but that didn't happen. Further research is required; however, it will have to wait until the next time I'm in Cicero (Illinois) and able to visit the public library. If you haven't read Michael's article, I commend it to you. Following is the section which inspired this post.

Thanks Steve ( tomiseksj ) for your nice comments and thanks too for solving the mystery. I spent some time checking out the possibilities and did come across the 'Stamp Bourse' but did not match them up. I have seen been searching for those items missing from my collection since that 99p purchase, but nothing has turned up. Still, it's been fun searching !! Londonbus1

Having recently acquired the 1938 sheets at an outrageous price, I am now complete from 1937 to 1942. Given the plate numbers on the 1937 sheets, I don't believe there was a sheet associated with the 1936 exhibition.
